Gad Elmaleh: American Dream (March 6) Netflix Comedy SpecialCo-created and executive produced by French comedian Gad Elmaleh, the series is inspired by Gad's own life and career, following him in a move from France to U.S. He's a huge comedian in France, but at a crossroads he leaves for Los Angeles to try and reconnect with his estranged, comedy hating, sixteen year old male model son. Elmaleh already has one comedy special with Netflix and is working on a series inspired by his own life, Huge in France. Ladies First (March 8) Netflix Documentary ShortThis tells the inspirational story of Deepika Kumari who, as a girl born on the road to abject poverty in rural India, while searching for food, stumbled upon archery. With a dry wit and sarcastic tone, she reluctantly fought a villain from her past in season 1. Leah Gibson is a regular for season 2 playing Ingrid the street-wise with an education as a nurse. Fans speculate Ingrid is a code name for Marvel Comics character Typhoid Mary, an enemy of Daredevil who suffers from dissociative identity disorder.
