The Nets were without Ben Simmons, Cam Johnson, Nic Claxton and they lost Cam Thomas during the game to an ankle injury. What happened? They went out and beat the Clippers with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and old friend James Harden.

Lonnie Walker led the way off the bench for Brooklyn with 21 points, and the Nets put together a team defensive performance that really stymied the Clippers all night.

It was a great win, a next-man-up scenario for Brooklyn, something that’s become a theme this season.
