If you’re going to networking events expecting to win business from every single event. Then you need to change your mindset. Instead, go with no expectations and make the effort to speak to people. When you’re speaking to them, don’t speak to them with the purpose that you want to pitch. Listen to them, get to know them as people and learn about their business.

 

You need to be consistent with networking, it’s only after you meet people multiple times that they consider working with you.
