작은 아이들은 소리쳤어요.

The little kids cried,

먼저 우리에게 당신의 발을 보여주세요.

first show us your paws

그것으로 우리는 네가 우리 사랑하는 엄마인지 알 수 있을 거예요.

that we may know if you are our dear little mother.

그러자 그는 그의 발을 창문으로 넣었어요.

Then he put his paws in through the window,

그리고 아이들이 발들이 하얀색인 것을 보았을 때

and when the kids saw that they were white,

그들은 믿었어요 모든 그가 말한 것이 사실이라고

they believed that all he said was true,

그래서 문을 열었습니다.

and opened the door.

그러나 들어온 것은 늑대였고

But who should come in but the wolf

그들은 무서워서 그들은 알아서 숨고 싶어했습니다.

they were terrified and wanted to hide themselves.

One sprang under the table,

두번째 염소는 침대로

the second into the bed,

세번째는 오븐 속으로

the third into the stove,

the fourth into the kitchen,

다섯째는 찬장 속으로

the fifth into the cupboard,

여섯째는 세척그릇 아래에

the sixth under the washing-bowl,

그리고 일곱째는 벽시계 속으로

and the seventh into the clock-case.
