When the wolf at length had had his fill of sleep,

Then cried he,

what rumbles and tumbles against my poor bones.

내 생각에 이건 여섯 아이들 인데,

I thought ’It was six kids,

하지만 이건 큰 돌들 같기도 한걸

but it feels like big stones.

그리고 그가 우물로 도착했을 때

And when he got to the well

마시기 위해 물 위로 몸을 굽히었고,

and stooped over the water to drink,

무거운 돌들이 그를 넘어지게 만들었습니다.

the heavy stones made him fall in,

그래서 그는 비참하게 물에 빠져야만 했습니다.

and he had to drown miserably.

일곱아이들이 그 장면을 보았을 때

When the seven kids saw that,

그들은 그 곳으로 달려가 크게 소리치길

they came running to the spot and cried aloud,
