Daniel Ritchie was inspired by procedurally generated trees with tight constraints to their output. The generative output was incredibly interesting, but took a long time to render. He set out to produce similar creative outputs, but he wanted the output to happen much faster. By making it far more responsive, this could unlock an entirely different applications.
