This episode we had the privilege to interview  one of the co-founders of Serenity Shea, Karim Williams. We discussed the origin story and the important of wellness/mindfulness when it comes to what we put on our bodies. This black owned company is based in the DC-Maryland-Virginia metropolitan area, but they ship their products across the states. They aspire to build community and create products "with ingredients you can pronounce." One of the ways wealth has historically been built  aside from real estate is thru the ownership businesses. Ownership is important in our wealth building story.
