Brent and Rachel sit down with S. Victoria Kahn to discuss Nevada’s favorable trust laws. They discuss the flexibility and asset protection features of Nevada law, how there’s no state income tax, and how individuals and families are using Nevada trusts to their advantage today.

Victoria leads The Whittier Trust Company of Nevada Inc.’s Reno, Nevada office, and oversees The Whittier Trust Company of Nevada’s Client Advisory group. Victoria also serves on the board of directors of The Whittier Trust Company of Nevada, Inc. Victoria joined Whittier Trust Company in 2017 as a client advisor and has worked with clients in the areas of trust and agency administration, including document review, fiduciary accounting, investments, real estate, taxes, estate planning, philanthropy, and family dynamics.

Victoria has a B.A. in history, cum laude from Colgate University and her J.D. from University of California, Davis School of Law. She earned her L.L.M. in taxation and her Estate Planning Certificate from Georgetown University Law Center. Victoria is admitted to practice law in California and is a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner.
