As the days grow shorter & the leaves begin to turn, we find ourselves looking inwards, preparing our minds for the beautiful yet harsh cold winter months ahead. There is a particular awareness of the present moment during these transitions from season to season, as cooler weather gently makes its way to the New York area. I certainly find myself seeking out music that is more introspective & comforting during these fall months, something to accompany a long walk through the woods or a drive through the morning fog. 

Dutch producer Tensen Park - the newest member of our Never Late family - presents us with an ethereal hour-long journey through some of his current favorites & musical influences. It is a mix crafted for these moments of seasonal transition. "I wanted to make it a bit of a trip" he said, "starting with some deeper, more emotional / human tracks then working towards some more playful / more energetic tracks." These 'futurebeats', as he describes this particular sound, consist of a blend of IDM, breakbeat, ambient & dub. This style can be heard sprinkled throughout his ‘Jurassimo’ EP which was just released on our own record label, Never Late. Tensen Park included two of his own tracks in the mix, in addition to a collection of tracks that he has been listening to for the past couple of months.
