This week, in Philippians 3, Paul wants to shift our purpose from a life focused on the here and now to a life focused on Christ. Paul's life was interrupted and radically changed by Jesus. For Paul, Christ was his everything, and all the other things in life were garbage. He desired for every decision of Philippi to revolve around Christ Jesus because Jesus is their greatest need. He did this by pushing us to be a "One thing" people who keep our eyes focused ahead on Christ. This week we see how Paul's "One thing" lifestyle can revolutionize our lives.
