Psalm 55 beginning at verse 1, “Give ear to my prayer Oh, God, and do not hide yourself from my supplication. Attend to me, and hear me, I’m restless in my complaint, and moan noisily because of the voice of the enemy because of the oppression of the wicked for they bring down trouble upon me and in wrath they hate me.“

Why do so many of us pray as if God either hasn’t heard us or even worse, has hidden from us? I think it’s because we often fail to understand His heart towards us, and forget that even our sufferings have a divine purpose, though we often can’t see it.

Two truths need to reignite in your heart today. Number 1, God is never far from you, and number 2, He never fails. In your life today, all things that He has allowed have a reason. Sometimes to deepen your faith, other times it’s to lead people to Himself through you and through them. Never lose heart.

It’s time to pray.
