Segment A: Negotiator, Chris Voss

Former FBI lead international kidnapping negotiator Chris Voss and bestselling author Tahl Raz have teamed up to create “Never Split the Difference: Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It,” a field-tested guide on the art of negotiation. Voss draws on his 20 years of experience in the FBI, where he was involved with over 150 kidnapping cases, to illustrate his techniques. Conventional negotiation is turned on its head, presenting tips that give readers the confidence in competitive edge they need in any situation. Voss will be diving into some of these techniques with Cathy, illustrating how to apply them to even the stickiest family situation, and share some gripping tales from his time in the FBI.

Segment B: Experimental Film Virginia

Launched in 2013, Experimental Film Virginia is a festival created by local artists to celebrate the creativity-soaked film-making that drives the arts in small towns like Cape Charles on Virginia's Eastern Shore. As EFV gains momentum, it's bringing the rest of Hampton Roads a series of film premieres, satellite workshops, and art parties as it sets up for its 4th year in Cape Charles. We'll preview Experimental Film Virginia's upcoming 4-day event that kicks off July 2th with "Art in a Barn," followed by a weekend filled with parties, screenings, and premieres.
