New Christians need to understand that the law told us what God required. Love reveals what God desires. Legalism says, ‘I must obey.’ Love says, ‘I get to obey.’” When a military commander gives an order, he expects faithful execution. But when The Commander — Jesus — gives a command, He expects faithful reflection.
