What is shaping your heart and mind?Everyone of us is shaped by something. It might be politics, social media, movie, books, if it's something we think a lot about or engage with regularly, we will be shaped by it. Our hope and prayer is that as we begin this new devotional study through the New City Catechism, we will be shaped more deeply be the truths of scripture found in this catechism. 
We encourage you to watch the devotional, and use the catechism for your personal devotions as well as in your families and small groups.

     Q: How does the Holy Spirit Help Us?
     A: The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin, comforts us, guides us, gives us spiritual gifts and the desire to obey God; and he enables us to pray and to understand God’s Word.
Memory Verse:
     Ephesians 6:17-18 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints."
