New CloudBees CEO sets sights on AI governance and observability
Moritz Plassnig, appointed CEO of Jenkins commercial steward CloudBees last month, succeeds Anuj Kapur, who steered the company to revenue growth, profitability and product focus. Plassnig's mandate is to steer CloudBees into the agentic AI coding era, with a focus on providing cohesive AI governance across multiple models and coding tools. The vendor will also look to compress the feedback loop between production apps and development with expanded support for observability, an increasingly crucial requirement for CI/CD tools to keep pace with a glut of agent-generated code.
