In personal, powerful presence, God commences the New Covenant. The event is sudden and singular. It dramatically demonstrates God’s supernatural sovereignty in fulfilling His promise through Christ and Him crucified. It is an overwhelming display of the consequence of the cross and the exaltation of Christ. It is a monumental event—the “New Covenant Day.” The triune God moves in unprecedented power as the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in and through Christ’s redeemed, the church. The scene is full of deeply significant, pivotal, even eschatological signs and wonders.
