The law of Moses.

It was a glorious gift from God to the people of Israel.

When I say the law of Moses, I mean the entirety of the Old Covenant, including the 10 Commandments.

But even though it came with glory, it was, as Paul wrote, a ministry of death.

That's why it pales in comparison to the New Covenant.

The New Covenant is a ministry of life.

Listen to the comparison of the two in 2 Corinthians 3:9.

"If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!"
