NEW Destiny Hero Shooter, Halo Infinite Campaign Co-Op BROKEN, & Saints Row Reboot!

Listen Later

I talk about the new Saints Row Reboot, a new Destiny Hero Shooter, Halo Infinite Co-op Campaign, Eve Online scandals, and much more on this fresh episode of Game Gains, NEW Destiny Hero Shooter, Halo Infinite Campaign Co-Op BROKEN, & Saint Row Reboot!

Rumors say Bungie is working on a NEW Destiny game, a PvP competitive shooter set in the Destiny universe. Speculation indicates that it could be a Hero Shooter like Overwatch, Valorant, or Apex Legends. It is unlikely that the new game will be a Destiny Battle Royale given Bungie's description as a competitive PvP shooter. Bungie has an amazing track record creating epic competitive multiplayer shooters, since it's created the Halo franchise which catapulted MLG and eSports into the mainstream appeal. Hopefully Bungie knocks a new Destiny game out of the park, Hero Shooter or not.

Speaking of the Halo Franchise, Halo Infinite is currently beta testing its new Co-op Campaign mode, and testing has indicated one major issue... Halo Infinite Co-op Campaign will have a limit to how far away you can get from your party members. In an open-world sandbox exploration game like Halo Infinite, its essential that players have complete freedom of movement for exploration, experimentation, and combat options. Other open-world games like Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Grand Theft Auto V, Destiny 2, Warframe, Saints Row, and tons more, allow players complete and total freedom to roam the game sandbox regardless of how far you get from your co-op partners. This is an essential function of open world games, and without it, Halo Infinite Co-op Campaign Launch will be mediocre at best.

There's a new Saints Row sequel launching in August and it's hard to determine if we should be excited or not. Saints Row is getting a reboot in terms of a name, but seems to be riffing on all the old Saints Row 3 and Saints Row 4 ridiculousness.

EVE Online has yet another scandal on its hands as one of its top players faces a major scandal that has seeped into his personal life. After allegations of misconduct within his virtual organization, The Mittani is quitting EVE Online forever. This goes to show why everyone needs to stay off of fake social dynamics with complete anonymous strangers via online forums and video games... it'll ruin your life bro!
