A trend I’m sensing in Coaching today (whether professionally, or as a manager coaching a team) is an exponential rise in the number of Karaoke Coaches – defined (by me) as those who have nothing original to contribute – those simply rehashing others’ work, others’ ideas.
Great Coaches are like Great Chefs – there are no new food ingredients out there, just creative ways of combining them to produce something magical! In the same way there is no (or very little) ground-breaking new coaching information out there, just creative ways of combining them to produce something magical!
