Since the market has much more than just the youth target audience, the things that developers are making and releasing seem to have two distinct targets for sales. #1 being the new release game, a creation from the ground up / a continuation of a storied franchise. Or #2, a remake/remaster or emulation of a classic title that we grew up on. This isn't just exclusive to games as we all well know, but it's quite prevalent now.
