Paul told the Colossians about the identity of Christ, what
took place at the cross, and how this truth can lead to personal
transformation. He also told us that when Christ is our life, His peace will be
the decisive factor in what
we think and feel. And the truth of His Word will
saturate everything we say and do. Interestingly, from all the places he could
choose to apply this truth, Paul chooses the home. In Colossians 3:18-21, Paul
is unpacking a new
set of house rules intended to help us flourish in our
marriages and families.
