God’s Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” When we surrender to Christ, we are no longer defined by our past—we are made new. But walking in that truth means releasing the things that no longer align with who God says we are.
