New Jersey and Delaware Surf Report for 02-14-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers! As we wrap up the 2024 beach forecast season, we've got some gnarly conditions brewing along the Jersey Shore and Delaware coastline.

Buckle up for a moderate rip current risk that's got surfers and swimmers on high alert. Expect waves dancing between 2 to 3 feet - perfect for catching some late-season swells. Water temperatures are hanging in the sweet spot - ranging from the lower 60s to lower 70s depending on your beach location.

The weather's playing a bit of hide and seek today. Eastern Monmouth and Sandy Hook are looking partly sunny with a crisp northeast wind around 15 mph. Long Beach Island and Atlantic City are leaning more toward mostly cloudy skies, with Atlantic City and Cape May throwing in a slight chance of rain for dramatic effect.

Temperature-wise, you'll want a light jacket. Coastal areas are sitting in the upper 60s to lower 70s. UV index is moderate, so sunscreen is still your friend even with the cloud cover.

Tide watchers, listen up! High tides are rolling in early morning - Belmar at 6:25 AM, Barnegat Inlet at 6:51 AM, Atlantic City at 6:43 AM, Cape May at 7:17 AM, and Rehoboth Beach at 6:52 AM.

Sunrise and sunset are giving us those classic early autumn vibes - rising between 6:50 and 6:55 AM and setting between 6:42 and 6:47 PM.

One last heads up - this is the final surf zone forecast for the 2024 season. So grab your board, respect the waves, and make these last beach moments count!

Stay safe, stay stoked!
