Surf Report - New Jersey Shore areas

New Jersey and Delaware Surf Report for 02-20-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers! As we ride the final wave of the 2024 beach forecast season, we've got some gnarly conditions brewing along the Jersey Shore and Delaware coastline.

Catch this northeast wind blowing around 15 to 20 miles per hour, creating some seriously tempting 2 to 3 foot surf. But hold onto your boards - we've got a moderate rip current risk that demands respect. These treacherous currents are no joke, especially near jetties and piers.

Sandy Hook's looking partly sunny with water temps in the upper 60s, perfect for a quick wetsuit session. Long Beach Island keeps it mostly cloudy with water temps dipping to the mid 60s. Atlantic City and Ocean City are serving up mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of rain - just enough to keep things interesting.

Rehoboth Beach is bringing the heat with lower 70s both in air and water temperature. The UV index is holding steady at moderate across all zones, so don't forget your sun protection.

Tide chasers, mark your charts! We've got morning high tides rolling in between 6:25 and 7:17 AM, with lows hitting around midday. Sunrise kicks off between 6:50 and 6:55 AM, with sunset painting the sky between 6:42 and 6:47 PM.

This is our final surf zone forecast of the season, so soak up every moment of coastal magic. Stay safe, respect the ocean, and catch you on the flip side!
