Surf Report - New Jersey Shore areas

New Jersey and Delaware Surf Report for 03-11-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers and wave chasers! We're looking at a moody Monday along the Jersey Shore and Delaware coastline with some interesting conditions brewing.

The entire coastal region is sitting under a moderate rip current risk today, so surfers and swimmers need to stay alert. Waves are running a consistent 2 to 3 feet across all zones - not epic, but definitely rideable for experienced boardriders.

Temperatures are hovering in that delightful late September range. Eastern Monmouth is chillin in the upper 60s with partly sunny skies, while coastal areas like Atlantic City and Cape May are warming into the lower 70s with mostly cloudy conditions and a slight whisper of potential rain.

Water temperatures are cooling down - ranging from the lower 60s near Atlantic City to the upper 60s around Sandy Hook, with Delaware beaches surprisingly warm in the lower 70s. Perfect for wetsuit surfing or brave swimmers.

Winds are consistently blowing northeast around 15 to 20 miles per hour, which will create some choppy but interesting surf conditions. The UV index is moderate, so sunscreen is still recommended even with the cloudy skies.

Tide watchers take note: morning high tides are rolling in between 6:25 and 7:17 AM, with lows hitting around midday. Sunrise is happening just before 7 AM, with sunset closing out the day around 6:40-6:47 PM.

A quick heads up - this is the final surf zone forecast for the 2024 season, so make these last waves count! Stay safe, stay stoked, and enjoy the ocean.
