New Jersey and Delaware Surf Report for 03-14-2025

Listen Later

Surf's Up, Beach Lovers! Your Monday Coastal Forecast is Here!

As we wrap up the 2024 beach forecast season, Mother Nature's serving up a classic late September day along the Jersey Shore and Delaware beaches. If you're planning to catch some waves, listen up!

We're looking at moderate rip current risks across all coastal zones, so surfers and swimmers - stay alert! Those northeast winds are cranking around 15 to 20 miles per hour, which means choppy conditions and surf heights hovering between 2 to 3 feet.

Temperature-wise, we're sitting pretty in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Water temps are equally inviting - ranging from the lower 60s near Atlantic City to the lower 70s at Rehoboth Beach. Pro tip: A light wetsuit might be your best friend today.

Skies will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain, particularly around Atlantic City, Ocean City, and Delaware beaches. The UV index is moderate, so sunscreen is still your wingman even under those cloudy skies.

Sunrise kicks off around 6:50 AM, with sunset painting the sky around 6:40-6:47 PM - plenty of daylight for beach adventures.

High tide times vary by location - Belmar at 6:25 AM, Barnegat Inlet at 6:51 AM, Atlantic City at 6:43 AM, Cape May at 7:17 AM, and Rehoboth Beach at 6:52 AM.

Remember, this is our final surf zone forecast for 2024, so make these last beach moments count! Stay safe, respect the ocean, and enjoy the ride!
