Listen Later

Surf's Up Coastal Crew! It's Monday morning and the beach vibes are calling your name across New Jersey and Delaware. Mother Nature's serving up a moderate rip current situation so stay alert out there.

From Sandy Hook to Cape May, we're looking at a consistent 2 to 3 foot surf with northeast winds howling around 15 to 20 miles per hour. Water temps are ranging from the lower 60s to lower 70s - wetsuit or boardshorts optional but recommended.

Skies are playing a mixed match of partly sunny and mostly cloudy with a slight rain chance lurking along the Atlantic and Delaware beaches. UV index is sitting at moderate so grab that sunscreen if you're hitting the sand.

Ocean temperatures are holding steady in the upper 60s near Sandy Hook and creeping into the lower 70s down by Delaware beaches. Perfect for some late season surfing or paddling.

High tides are rolling in during the early morning hours between 6:25 and 7:17 AM, with low tides hitting midday around 12:18 to 1:03 PM. Sunrise kicks off between 6:50 and 6:55 AM with sunset wrapping up the day between 6:42 and 6:47 PM.

Heads up beach lovers - this is the final surf zone forecast for the 2024 season. So make these last beach moments count! Rip currents are moderate risk, which means stay smart, stay safe, and enjoy those waves.

Catch you on the flip side, coastal crew!
