The New Jersey VegFest launched when Kendra Arnold ran into Marisa Sweeney on the sidewalk in downtown Morristown. Kendra said "We should do a VegFest for the state of New Jersey!" and Marisa was immediately in. The New Jersey VegFest is a vegan food and lifestyle festival that features vegan food vendors, clothing, authors and books, speakers, and beer, and it will be held at the Meadowlands Expo Center on October 7 & 8, 2017.
