Summary:

Marco asks D, AKA tirankin or Daniel Zeiger for short, to talk about Exceed's Speed Curve. This concept is present throughout all of Exceed's design and informs how cards and characters are made! Find out more in this episode!

The Speed Curve is a relationship between Range and Speed. At certain ranges, attacks are expected to have a certain amount of Speed to be considered "average" or "on-curve".

The Speed Curve becomes the basis for Exceed's basic meta: Fast Attacks VS Slow Attacks VS Mid-Speed Attacks.

A good understanding of the Speed Curve and the attack meta it informs will give you a glimpse into how characters are made!
