Everything we have as believers comes from God's grace and Christ's finished work on the cross.

The city of Ephesus, a vibrant hub of commerce and culture in the Roman Empire, was teeming with diverse religious practices and beliefs, prominently centered around the worship of deities like Artemis. Christians in Ephesus faced societal rejection and spiritual opposition due to their faith in Christ, living amidst an environment steeped in idolatry and magical rituals.

Paul's letter to the Ephesians serves as an anchor of assurance to these believers, reaffirming their identity and security in Christ amid challenging circumstances. Paul reveals that believers are chosen and adopted by God, blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Through adoption, believers are granted the incredible privilege of calling God their Father and sharing in the inheritance of Christ—a reality that transcends earthly status and reflects God's boundless love and grace.
