After the highs of a successful election campaign comes the hard work of delivering on promises. The new Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism Minister, Christian Santos was in the studios. He spoke to us about his first days in office and why marrying tourism and culture makes sense.

And the new Minister for Health said she is aware there needs to be a careful balance between listening to the public and listening to the clinicians. Gemma Arias-Vasquez told GBC if clinicians tell the Government the Community Mental Health Team facility should not be moved to St Bernard’s Hospital then they will rethink that. She is also Minister for Care and Business and told Jonathan Scott she has spent her first few days as a minister meeting heads of department.
