Today’s episode is extremely personal to me yet I didn’t allow myself to talk myself out of sharing this part of my story. Healing my inner “mommy wound” has single handedly been the most transformative thing I have ever done not only to show up for myself, yet also to show up for other moms ( and all women really ) so that they can see a living proof example of how and why this inner work and healing is so very necessary for the future generations of daughters and young women that will thank us for breaking this generational curse so that their paths are clearer for them to walk.

How to Deal with UN-Solicited Advice | Ways to maintain your Personal Power + Parenting Plan.

In today's episode I talk about a few ways that I had learned over the years about how to better deal with parenting advice and tips from other’s ( be it family or strangers ) as for whatever reason, when it comes to certain topics in the being and becoming a mom stage of life, many will want to make suggestions that may or may not align with your standards and viewpoints of parenting -- there is no “right” way to do this work, we all have unique perspectives and experiences in addition to cultural traditions that may form your mindset around why and how you decided to raise your children in a certain fashion. My personal experience and suggestion will always be: Do what YOU feel good about within your heart and as long as those decisions align with adding to the best outcome for your child(ren), in order for them to be in a position to have a healthy life that equips them to thrive, that’s all that really matters in the end.

Mom Guilt is a thing - yet many moms seem to be suffering in silence, and perhaps may even feel "guilty" for admitting they feel mom guilt ( even if on a lesser scale), as if being a mom shouldn't have any other feelings attached to it besides feelings of euphoria.

In today's podcast episode I share my personal story with my mom guilt as well as tools and resources that I found worked me for to keep it at bay, it's an ever evolving process and I still have times where my mind can "play tricks on me" yet I am in a much more empowered place where I do not allow that to occur as often.
