Today, we welcome a New Moon in the fixed fire sign of Leo the Lion. Our proud King of the Jungle rules matters of the personal heart, creativity, and leadership. Leo asks us to shine, offering us confidence to self-express in an authentic and noteworthy fashion.
This New Moon is all Fire and Air. It’s a positive time, yet the archetypal configuration requires us to go through a big death process while bringing in a new way of living. This change is coming from the outside - the outer planets Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus are conspiring to pull, push, and provoke us forward. Like it or not, we’re being placed in a new situation that is more reflective of our true heart’s wants, needs, and desires. We need to have faith and trust while pacing ourselves and most importantly, keep a spirit of PLAYFULNESS!
In this episode, I discuss: 👇🏼👇🏾👇🏼👇🏾👇🏼
* The significant death and letting-go influence of Pluto opposing our New Moon
* How you might be catapulted into the next chapter of yor life.
* A preponderance of fire and air and the challenge of pacing or slowing down
* The need for breakthrough and breakout energies to allow our souls to thrive
* How 2020-2022 and Covid represented a clearing out and larger ending of our cultural understanding
* Freedom and independence in the Sabian Symbols of the New Moon in Leo (“A woman bobbing her hair”) and Pluto in Aquarius (“A deserter from the Navy”)
* Pluto in Aquarius and how the Internet is equivalent to the invention of the printing press and massive paradigm shift
* Mercury retrograde and how to be in the game without banging your head against the wall
* The myth of Daedalus and Icarus and the risk of flying too close to the Sun
* The importance of play and sport in overcoming challenges and cultivating character and strength
We’re in this together. Go easy on yourself. Life is asking us to take a leap, break away from old roles and conditioning, and learn sticky lessons. Would you judge a kid for trying things and not having it perfect right away? No! So be gentle, playful, and curious about this great unfolding. Listen to your body - it’s the best piece of data you have, and it’s always with you.
