Good morning, weather watchers! I'm your meteorologist with today's forecast for the Gretna area in Louisiana.
We've got a Dense Fog Advisory in effect, so buckle up for some misty mornings! Let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us.
Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping to a cool 59 degrees. The winds will be taking a little siesta, staying completely calm.
Moving into Tuesday, dense fog will be playing peek-a-boo before 8 in the morning. After that, we're looking at a partly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 74 degrees. Winds will be super gentle, starting calm and then floating in from the east at around 5 miles per hour.
Wednesday brings us cloudy conditions that will gradually transform into a mostly sunny afternoon. Temperatures will hover near 73 degrees with those same light winds shifting around.
As we roll into Thursday and Friday, we're in for a treat with mostly sunny skies and temperatures sitting pretty at 77 degrees. South winds will be our gentle companion, dancing between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
The weekend looks absolutely gorgeous with continued mostly sunny conditions and temperatures maintaining that delightful 77-degree sweet spot.
By Monday, we might see a slight chance of showers, with temperatures cooling down to 67 degrees and winds coming in from the northeast.
