Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with the latest forecast for the Gretna area in Louisiana.

Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has in store for us. Tonight, we're looking at a cozy evening with some patchy fog and mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will hold steady around 62 degrees with absolutely no wind to speak of.

Moving into Wednesday, expect a cloudy start that'll gradually transform into a mostly sunny day. We'll see temperatures climbing to a pleasant 75 degrees. That calm wind will become a gentle southerly breeze around 5 miles per hour in the morning.

Wednesday night brings more patchy fog after 3 in the morning, with mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 63 degrees. A light southeast wind will be dancing around at about 5 miles per hour.

Thursday has a slight twist - there's a 20 percent chance of showers after noon. We'll also see some patchy dense fog before 8 in the morning. But don't worry, it'll turn partly sunny with temperatures reaching near 76 degrees. Expect a south wind between 5 to 10 miles per hour.

As we roll into Friday and the weekend, we're looking at mostly sunny conditions with temperatures hovering in the mid to upper 70s. A few patches of morning fog might make an appearance, but nothing that'll ruin your day.

By Monday and Tuesday, we're tracking a slight chance of showers. Tuesday, in particular, might bring some more interesting weather with likely showers and possibly a thunderstorm.
