Hey weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with the latest forecast for the Gretna area in Louisiana.
We've got some exciting weather brewing tonight! Expect showers and possibly thunderstorms before 5 am, with a chance of continued stormy conditions after that. Some of these storms might bring heavy rainfall, so keep those umbrellas handy. Temperatures will hold steady around 56 degrees, with northeast winds blowing around 10 miles per hour and gusts up to 25 miles per hour.
Wednesday is looking a bit cooler, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7 am. Temperatures will drop to around 48 degrees by late afternoon, accompanied by north winds around 15 miles per hour and gusts up to 25 miles per hour.
Things get chilly Wednesday night, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dipping down to around 30 degrees. North winds will continue at 15 miles per hour with gusts reaching 30 miles per hour.
Thursday brings gradual clearing with a high near 45 degrees and north winds between 10 to 15 miles per hour. Thursday night looks mostly clear with temperatures around 31 degrees.
The weekend ahead looks mild, with temperatures climbing to near 58 degrees on Saturday and potentially reaching 60 degrees on Sunday. We might see some scattered showers, especially before noon on Sunday.
By Monday and Tuesday, we're looking at sunny skies with temperatures warming up to 67 and 73 degrees respectively.
