Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with the latest forecast for the Gretna area.
Tonight, we're looking at a partly cloudy sky with temperatures holding steady around 51 degrees. Expect a gentle southeast wind lazily drifting at around 5 miles per hour.
Friday is shaping up to be a beauty! We'll see a partly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 74 degrees. The south wind will be dancing between 5 to 10 miles per hour, perfect for a light jacket or maybe just a sweater.
Friday night gets a bit mysterious with patchy fog rolling in after 3 am. The sky will be mostly cloudy, and temperatures will drop to around 63 degrees. That south wind will calm down to practically a whisper in the evening.
Saturday brings some excitement with showers and thunderstorms before 10 am, and then more potential storms after 10 am. Expect a high near 76 degrees with a chance of precipitation at 80 percent. The wind will be playing hide and seek - light and variable before settling into a southeast breeze.
The weekend continues with a chance of showers on Sunday, temperatures cooling down to around 69 degrees with a northwest wind between 10 to 15 miles per hour. As we move into Monday, we're looking at a sunny day with temperatures near 67 degrees.
The rest of the week looks pretty fantastic - lots of sunshine, temperatures gradually warming up, with a slight chance of showers midweek.
