Cherilyn Spears, Henry Donnell, and Kade Ferris are working together on a project that will reintroduce bison (or mashkode bizhiki in Ojibwemowin) to the Red Lake Nation in northern Minnesota. Cherilyn is Project Coordinator for Red Lake Nation Economic Development and Planning , Kade is Red Lake Tribal Archaeologist, and Henry will be the farm manager. The project is based on a survey of the people of Red Lake and will carry out their wishes for better sources of wholesome, pre-colonization
