New push to restore Paul Robeson Theater! Rick Davy, one of the volunteers from the civic group, 500 Men Making a Difference, will talk to The GIST of FREEDOM about The Paul Robeson Theater Restoration. Davy along with other members, worked for 72 hours straight, on Martin Luther King’s birthday. Helping to fulfill the wishes of the prominent obstetrician who delivered Malcolm X’s six children, Dr. Josephine English, the founder of the theatre.
