In a study published in Sage Journals, uncovered some intriguing insights about how we see ourselves. Their research found that we tend to view ourselves as more attractive than we actually are. 

This isn’t about faulty mirrors or lighting—it’s a trick our minds are playing on us. 

As the study explains, “The image you have of yourself in your mind is not exactly the same as what actually exists.”
