Keith Vincent, John Holt, Mary Varn, are excited to be joined again this week by Giaco Furino. Giaco is particularly qualified to discuss our latest topic "Scary," as he is a contributor to FEARnet.com, and an avid fan of the horror genre. Segment 1:  Halloween III : Season of the Witch (film)

Giaco's pick for "Scary" is the third in the Halloween film series, produced by John Carpenter. This movie is a departure from the Michael Meyers saga of the first two Halloween movies. Unfortunately the plan to expand the series to be "scary things that happen on Halloween" was never realized.

This movie is a great combination of corny and creepy, very fun.  Definitely worthy of merchandising, like a Skeleton for ages 4 and up! Actually the above product is from Retroband.

Segment 2:  The Most Dangerous Game (short story)

Mary's "Scary" pick is a short story from the January 19th, 1924 issue of Collier's Weekly magazine. In this tale Richard Connell penned a story that has inspired dozens of films, books and other tales for the past almost 90 years.
