About a third of the 55,000 Americans diagnosed with pancreatic cancer each year were considered inoperable due to the tumor growing outside the pancreas. But now, that conventional wisdom is being challenged with the release of data from a recent study, as Dr. Chee-Chee Stucky, a surgical oncologist from Mayo Clinic, explains.
