New Universal theme park set to open in UK | BBC News

The first Universal theme park in Europe will be built in the UK, the government has promised.
The theme park, which is set to open in 2031, will be constructed in Bedford on a 476-acre complex and could attract 8.5 million visitors in its first year.
Universal, whose films include Minions and Wicked, have theme parks in Orlando and Los Angeles in the US, as well as Osaka, Japan, Sentosa, Singapore, and Beijing, China.
