This episode is about the vitally important role of intelligent, purposeful evolution in the new scientific understanding of the universe. This is something for all of us to understand and get excited about because it tells us that our future is good and has unlimited potential. I talk about consciousness (awareness), unity, and evolution as being fundamental to the universe but I expand on the meaning and implications. I explain that "wholeness" is the bigger meaning of unity, and it is hologramic such that information of or about the whole is present at every point or thing or being in the universe. Thus, the universe is fully interconnected non-locally. Another important implication is that the universe is fully relational, and the relationships between things and beings are important to evolution. Evolution evolves toward greater coherence between things and within systems. Coherence is very important to is-ness of beings such as ourselves and of complex systems such as among living beings and of worlds. And a big implication is that the divine (the consciousness of the universe), of which each of us is part, is itself evolving. Sentient beings participate in evolution, but it requires our awareness and caring. And that is the big problem in the world today - most humans are ignorant that they are working against evolution because of their belief in separation and lack of awareness. In it he seeks to dispel any idea you may have that awakened love is like emotional or romantic love. When you awaken, you connect with your source, which is who you really are. In it he says that a calling comes from your own soul, and it letting you know that awakening is the most important thing that you can do by simply becoming aware. Becoming aware lets you chose to operate from awareness rather than reaction, habit, and other forms of unconsciousness. My guest, Grant Storry, is a technology executive who is now helping to change the world through his work in the Science of Unitive Love (SOUL) with cosmologist Jude Currivan. In this episode, Grant shared his insights into the many problems in the world that arise out of an outdated worldview based in separation. The result of that worldview is excessive focus on self (individualism), competition, polarization of political parties, and conflict. In his own life, he learned the need to shift from mind (thinking and the fragmentation that it produces) to awareness and a greater sense of our interconnectedness or wholeness. In studying the science of unitive love, he learned that everything in the universe exists in relationships and that greater coherence is what is needed in our world. Coherence is the measure of quality in any relationship. The more coherent, the greater the harmony and regenerative power for good results in the relationship. Love is the force that shapes a system in evolution toward greater coherence. This is very powerful, and everyone needs to learn more about this.
