To the extent that websites now exist that can be given a basic prompt, "Tell me the premise and theories about the book Animal Farm" and an AI system will auto-generate an entire essay on the topic without the teens having to lift a finger off their phones. Gone are the days of reading about a topic, forming your own opinions, and expressing those opinions yourself. Now a computer literally will do it for you! Is this cheating? Is it fair? Is it just glorified CliffsNotes? Can you commit plagiarism from an AI?
