The Willard City Council appointed a new land use hearing officer March 12 to oversee administrative hearings related to subdivision, zoning, and other land use matters. Craig M. Call of Anderson Call & Wilkinson, P.C. was selected to replace Dave Church, the previous hearing officer. The council noted that Call comes highly recommended and had been reviewed by city staff prior to the appointment. Mayor Travis Mote and Willard City Attorney Amy Hugie said the appointment ensures continuity in the city’s land use review process and maintains compliance with state and local regulations.
