Is keeping the law and the old covenant necessary today?  

In our christian journey many of us try to fit the new wine of the new covenant of grace into the old wineskins of old covenant law.  It doesn't work.  The new wine bursts the old wineskins and spills the grace of the new covenant onto the ground.
