Today Teresa talks about the expression doom and gloom. This idiom is of the type rhymes with words that have meaning. This expression is used to convey a general feeling of pessimism or despondency. Gloom is when a place is very dark and hard to see but in a sad or depressing way. Doom is a terrible fate like death. So when you combine these it's very not positive.
