New Word Monday: Same Old, Same Old

Listen Later

Today Teresa talks about the expression same old same old. This idiom is of the straight-up repeated type, but it's a little different because it's a two-word expression that gets repeated instead of a single word getting repeated. It is used to talk about a situation that hasn't changed, perhaps boring or uninteresting.
