New Word Monday: Slo-Mo

Today Teresa talks about the expression slo-mo. This idiom is of the type rhymes with words that have meaning. It describes a type of film playback. The word slow is pretty easy, and mo isn't too bad if you understand it is the shortened form of motion. So slo-mo is film that has been slowed down so you can see each movement or all of the motion very easily. We also use this idiom for non-film situations.
